Summary: We are seeking an experienced IBM Specialist to lead the upgrade of IBM environments at a client site in Knutsford. The role focuses on managing BigFix, implementing Disconnected Scans, and leveraging ILMT for software asset management, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The position requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with stakeholders to define upgrade strategies. This is a contract role with a pay rate of £313 per day, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end upgrade of IBM infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to Client standards.
- Configure and optimize IBM BigFix for patching, compliance, and security.
- Implement Disconnected Scans and integrate with ILMT for accurate license tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define upgrade strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and best practices for IBM environment management.
Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in IBM BigFix, ILMT, and related IBM tools.
- Proven experience in environment upgrades and infrastructure modernization.
