Summary: The IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining message flows and interface processes for a Tier 1 Bank. This role involves production support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with various teams to ensure optimal solutions are delivered. The position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days a week in the office at Canary Wharf, London. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new and existing message flows, DFDL message models, and interface processes.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues related to existing interface processes.
- Gain a high-level understanding of relevant Middleware applications and ongoing projects.
- Design and develop message flows and models as part of the Bank's Interface Team.
- Assist with code reviews and ensure optimal solutions are delivered.
- Maintain and support interfaces between the Bank's applications in Europe and North America.
- Collaborate with application team members and developers from other teams for development work.
Key Skills:
- Solid experience with IBM Integration Bus v9 or higher (preferably ACE 12), IBM MQ v8.0 or higher, MQFTE v7.0 or higher.
- Experience with API Connect/Azure API Management & Apache Kafka.
- Experience in developing Message Sets and Message Definitions using XML, MRM, and TDS formats.
- Experience in developing message flows using various nodes including Compute, SOAP, HTTP, Routing, Mapping, Java Compute, File, and Database Nodes.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Korn Shell Scripts, PERL, Java, Ant, SQL, ESQL.
- Experience with operating systems such as UNIX (AIX), Linux, and Windows.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle 10G, 11i, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures.
