Summary: The role of IBA Credit Controller is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on managing IBA accounts and ensuring timely collection of funds within a London-based award-winning business. The position involves close collaboration with the Credit Control Supervisor and requires immediate availability or a short notice period. Key tasks include cash allocation, resolving queries, and monitoring debt levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit control procedures within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively manage credit control, ensuring timely collection of funds from brokers
- Ensure accurate cash allocation and resolve any related queries as required
- Provide support to team members as needed, including cash allocation
- Take ownership of queries and resolve them effectively to reduce aged debt
- Distribute monthly statements to relevant parties
- Respond to incoming emails and telephone enquiries from brokers
- Monitor overall debt levels and outstanding amounts over 60 days overdue
- Track and manage unallocated cash value and item count
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of credit control procedures and IBA accounting within the Insurance industry
- Experience with Brokasure Desktop is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of multi-currency transactions is advantageous but not required
