Summary: The IAM Service Lead role is a high-impact contract position focused on overseeing Identity & Access Management (IAM) service delivery within a complex environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving SLA performance, governance, and continuous improvement. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage incidents and problems effectively. The role is based on-site in Inverness and is set for an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end IAM service delivery (SLAs, BAU performance, service reporting)
  • Own incident & problem management for IAM, ensuring rapid, effective resolution
  • Define and improve IAM policies, standards, and processes to meet security/compliance needs
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to integrate IAM across platforms
  • Coach/lead the IAM team and raise operational maturity and service quality

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience leading IAM in a large/complex organisation
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of IAM protocols/standards: LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
  • Track record managing service operations (incidents, problems, SLAs, stakeholder comms)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Certifications (preferred): CISSP/CISM/IAM-related
