Summary: The IAM Engineer role involves implementing, maintaining, and optimizing identity capabilities within an organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver robust Authentication & Authorisation, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Governance & Administration solutions to support the organisation's identity strategy.
  • Implement and configure identity security technologies across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Maintain and optimise IAM platforms, ensuring operational stability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to align IAM capabilities with business needs.
  • Develop documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guidance to support identity life cycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related escalations and security issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the uplift of privileged access controls and governance standards.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience working as an IAM Engineer in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AAA, PAM, and IGA technologies (eg, CyberArk, SailPoint, Azure AD, Okta, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos, MFA).
  • Experience implementing privileged access solutions and enforcing least-privilege models.
  • Knowledge of identity life cycle processes, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in hybrid teams and deliver high-quality outcomes under project timelines.

Your responsibilities as the IAM Engineer
