Summary: IAM Engineer / Consultant with expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM), Java, Groovy, OAuth, and AWS is urgently needed for a Financial Services client in Edinburgh. The role requires strong development and scripting skills, with a hybrid working arrangement of at least one day per week on-site. Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company. Experience with Kubernetes and ForgeRock is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IAM solutions using Java and Groovy.
- Utilize OAuth and AWS IAM Identity Center for security management.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure Agile methodologies are followed.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provide expertise in Kubernetes and related technologies.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in an Identity Access Management (IAM) related role working in environments using both AWS and Java.
- Previous experience using OAuth and ideally some knowledge of AWS IAM Identity Center.
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC.
- Experience in Groovy and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Agile ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Any ForgeRock experience would be beneficial, but not necessary.

IAM Engineer / Consultant (Java, Groovy, OAuth, AWS) needed urgently for our Financial Services client based in Edinburgh. The right candidate must have strong Identity Access Management (IAM) knowledge & experience combined with demonstrable Java & Groovy development & scripting skills and experience with OAuth and in AWS & Kubernetes.
Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company and requires candidates to work at least 1 day per week onsite in Edinburgh, though the rest of each week can be worked remotely.
Our Financial Services client is looking for a strong IAM specialist with knowledge and experience in programming in Java, knowledge of Groovy and ideally experience in AWS related IAM & Security. Alongside IAM & Java, experience in Kubernetes and knowledge of tools like OAuth & AWS IAM Identity Center (previously AWS SSO) would be very beneficial. Any experience in ForgeRock would be a bonus.
