Summary: The I&C Construction Supervisor role involves overseeing the execution of electrical and instrumentation construction works for a Nuclear New Build project in Bridgwater. The position requires managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, site-based role with an approximate contract duration of five years, depending on project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision and relevant engineering qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical and I&C installation and erection works
- Manage subcontractors and site resources
- Coordinate with engineering and site management
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and EHS requirements
- Maintain construction, quality and as-built records
- Manage turnover packages and support commissioning
- Drive programme, cost control and safe delivery
Key Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience delivering power plant construction projects
- Strong background in site-based construction supervision
- Proven subcontractor management experience
- Good knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
- Fluent English
- Desirable: Nuclear or major infrastructure project experience
- Desirable: Experience working in multicultural teams

Instrumentation & Control Construction Supervisor
Key details: Full time, site based role PAYE Salary Approximate 5 year contract (Dependant on project completion)
NRL are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Construction Supervisor to support delivery of the a Nuclear New Build in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for the execution of electrical and I&C erection works, managing subcontractors on site and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery through to turnover and handover to commissioning.
