Summary: The role of Senior HV Cabling Design Engineer involves leading the design and analysis of high voltage cabling systems for transmission and distribution projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of HV cabling systems for transmission and distribution projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Utilize CYMCAP and other relevant cabling software tools to perform thermal analysis, ampacity calculations, and other necessary design functions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on HV cabling design, including cable selection, routing, installation methods, and protection.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of cabling systems within the overall project scope.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, reports, and technical specifications. Ensure all design documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards, including IEC, IEEE, and other applicable regulations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with HV cabling design and installation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HV cabling design. Propose and implement improvements to enhance design processes and outcomes.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in HV cabling design, specifically in transmission and distribution projects.
• Proficient in using CYMCAP and other relevant cabling software tools; experience with CAD software and other design tools is desirable.
• In-depth understanding of HV cabling systems, including cable types, materials, installation methods, and thermal performance.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, including IEC, IEEE, and other national/international standards.
