Summary: The HR Business Partner role involves implementing the UK&I strategy by collaborating with leadership and supporting talent management initiatives. This position is a temporary contract focused on addressing people-related challenges and enhancing employee relations within the organization. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying talent needs and providing guidance on HR policies and practices. The HR Business Partner will also play a crucial role in performance management and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the annual talent strategy plan to support the business.
  • Act as the single point of contact for people-related information and practices.
  • Participate in specific HR projects and initiatives.
  • Understand and address the talent needs of the business.
  • Identify and analyze talent issues before they impact the business.
  • Analyze trends and critical People metrics to develop solutions and policies.
  • Provide guidance to line management on people management issues.
  • Support the performance management process.
  • Interpret human resources policies for the business.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues through investigations.

Key Skills:

  • Human Resources experience, particularly in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including diversity and performance management.
  • Business acumen and understanding of the IT business.
  • CIPD Level 5-7 qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
  • Empathy and digital literacy skills.

As a HR Business Partner this role will cascade the UK&I strategy throughout the designated by partnering with the respective leader. This role is initially a 2-3 month contract assignment for a key progamme of work

  • Executes based on annual talent strategy plan to support the business
  • Single point of contact on people related information and practices
  • Involves in any specific projects/initiatives as an HR representative
  • Understands the talent needs of the business (nature of hiring & growth/development demand).
  • Identifies talent issues related to specific roles or specialization before they impact the business.
  • Analyzes trends and critical People metrics to address, partnering with stakeholders, the demand to develop solutions, programs and policies which cover business needs
  • Trusted advisor in time of change and communicates internally with Managers to ensure a smooth transition Employee Champion
  • Consults with line management, providing People management guidance when appropriate ie HR data, decision making based on existing policies and procedures, succession planning, proper mapping of people to roles etc
  • Supports performance management process to make it smooth and effective ( analysis of results, calibration with impact on business etc)
  • Interprets human resources policies to the business
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations in case of conflicts

Skills and Experience

  • Human Resources experience including resolving employee relations issues
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including diversity, performance management, APRs, policies and employment laws.
  • Business Acumen/Understanding IT business desirable; CIPD Level 5-7
