Summary: The HR & Business Operations Officer role in Bradford involves providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle within a large public sector organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional HR advice and operational support across the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure all advice and guidance aligns with employment law, local policy, and national frameworks.
- Support the development and delivery of HR and OD strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and policy development.
- Support workforce change programmes, including restructures, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure a quality candidate experience.
- Provide advice and support to colleagues on HR processes, systems, and compliance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role covering the full employee lifecycle.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

The postholder will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing operational support on a range of people-related matters including attendance, capability, performance, employee relations, recruitment, and workforce change.
