Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire HR function – from strategy to shop floor
- Act as a senior advisor on structure, succession, and culture
- Build and sustain positive union partnerships – lead negotiations, consultations, and resolutions
- Drive recruitment, talent, L&D, and leadership development
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement and employee wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies
- Use HR data and insights to support smarter decision-making
Key Skills:
- Proven HR leadership in manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong union experience, including collective bargaining and employment law
- Commercially savvy and confident influencing at all levels
- Resilient, solutions-focused, and people-first in approach
- CIPD Level 5+ (Level 7 preferred)
- Comfortable with HRIS and data-led people strategies

This is the No.1 HR position , reporting directly to the site leadership team and playing a critical role in driving both operational HR excellence and cultural transformation.
