Summary: The role of Interim HR Change Manager involves leading the implementation of a People Services review for a public sector client in Bedfordshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the People Services review, focusing on impactful and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and deliver a clear, actionable project plan with defined milestones and deliverables based on the review's recommendations.
- Streamline recruitment and employee relations processes, reducing manual interventions and improving response times.
- Streamline policies, procedures, and systems to reduce bureaucratic processes and improve service delivery.
- Launch the digitisation of key manual processes, reducing paper-based forms and automating workflows.
- Ensure full utilisation of the iTrent HR system, including setting up self-service functionalities for line managers to reduce the burden on HR staff.
- Use a Stop-Start-Continue framework to identify and reduce low-value activities, focusing on high-impact practices.
- Conduct an efficiency review to eliminate non-value-adding tasks, allowing employees to focus on priority activities.
- Develop and execute a communication plan with engagement sessions for key stakeholders, ensuring support for transformation initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in an HR change management role within the public sector.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- MCIPD Qualified or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using HR systems, with iTrent being advantageous.
