Key Responsibilities:

My client who are a Global Insurance firm are looking to hire a HR Generalist to cover a 6 month maternity contract! As HR Generalist you will be responsible for supporting the UK HR and European agenda and working alongside Group HR on talent management; remuneration and benefits; training and development, culture and employee engagement.
Human Resources Generalist duties:
- Assisting the UK HR Manager with day-to-day HR administration as well as specific HR projects and annual processes, which could include the annual SMCR F&P process, culture initiatives, training and development, diversity and remuneration planning.
- Responsibility for the onboarding of new joiners through our HRIS system, Workday, which includes issuing offer letters and contracts.
- Managing the reference checking process with Vero Screening, ensuring relevant checks undertaken for all new joiners and annual regulatory checks performed.
- Responsibility for the offboarding process through our HRIS system, Workday, including exit interviews where appropriate, ensuring all relevant parties are informed of the details and the employee has a smooth exit from the business.
- Updating Workday with any changes in compensation, job changes, one-time payments and general reporting.
Employee Relations:
- Guide & support with Performance Improvement Plans, Grievances & Disciplinaries.
Talent & Acquisition:
- Working closely with our T&A team in Amman, keeping them update to on any new hires & Interviewing alongside Managers for UK, Malta, Bermuda & Norway positions.
- Support the payroll processes for UK, Bermuda, Norway & Malta, supporting the HR Assistant & payroll Manager in collating payroll input.
- Provide support to the HR Manager in updating Handbooks as and when required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Insurance background an advantage – knowledge and experience of FCA and PRA regulation
