We are currently partnering with an industry leading manufacturing firm based in North Birmingham who are looking to recruit for a HR Generalist with employee relations focus on an initial 6 month FTC. This is a full time role (37.5 hours), will be five days on site and is paying £42k (pro rata). Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with a backlog of open employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness and absence
- Handling linked administration including note taking at meetings and updating internal records
- Providing coaching and guidance to hiring managers on ER matters and HR policy
- Dealing with occupational health referrals and managing return to work
- Supporting with any generalist HR operations, including inductions, workforce planning, training & development and onboarding advice
Experience required:
- Handling end to end ER investigations
- Coaching and guiding line managers and ER matters
