Summary: The HR Business Partner / HR Team Leader role at Elevation Recruitment Group is a 12-month fixed-term contract based just outside of York, primarily covering maternity leave. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in day-to-day HR operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational HR queries.

- Manage high volume complex and sensitive employee case loads.
- Develop and coach the HR team, providing support for complex cases.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures for compliance.
- Provide proactive solutions and support to the organization and team.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in leading HR teams.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it.
- Experience in handling complex employee relations cases.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to coach and develop team members.

Reporting into the HR Operations Manager, this HR Business Partner / Team Leader will have demonstrable skills and experience in the following areas:
- Previous experience leading a team, in the day-to-day operations field of HR
- Act as first point of contact for all operational HR queries, liaising directly with the Partners through to senior leaders of the business
- Ensure all employee relations enquiries are handled, monitored and resolved in accordance with Group policies and procedures
- You will have firsthand experience handling high volume complex and sensitive employee case loads
- Develop and coach a team, ensure they have adequate support when dealing with complex cases
- Review and update all HR policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation is compliant and in line with current legislation
- Proactive in your approach and driven to provide solutions and support to the wider organisation and your team
