Key Responsibilities:

  • Building effective relationships with trade unions and advising on collective matters.
  • Supporting management on complex and high-risk cases, such as employment tribunal claims.
  • Encouraging effective people management competencies by coaching and influencing senior management on performance management, succession planning, reward, and employee relations.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience providing HR support at a senior level within a complex, unionised environment.
  • A deep understanding of employment law, organisational design, and employee relations.
  • The ability to manage multiple strategic and operational priorities while building strong relationships across all levels.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 7 or equivalent experience) preferred.

Location: Wolverhampton (2/3 days home working)

Contract Length: Until end of March 2026

Contract Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.00pm (37 hours per week)

Salary: £52,565 - £55,755

We’re partnering with a respected public sector organisation in Wolverhampton to recruit a HR Business Partner who will provide strategic HR leadership and high-level support to senior management across the organisation.
