Our client, a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their HR team on an 18-month fixed-term contract based in Peterborough.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders across a complex and dynamic business, providing both strategic and operational HR support.
The successful individual will play a key role in driving people initiatives, supporting organisational effectiveness, developing leadership capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
Your new role
Partner with business leaders to develop and deliver effective people strategies.
Provide expert HR advice across workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent management.
Support managers with employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Coach and develop leaders to enhance performance, engagement and team effectiveness.
Lead and support organisational change initiatives.
Utilise workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions.
Drive employee engagement activities and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Collaborate with specialist HR teams on recruitment, reward, learning and development, and diversity initiatives.
Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, talent assessments and succession planning.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a fast-paced organisation.
Strong employee relations knowledge and employment law expertise.
Experience influencing and coaching managers at different levels.
A commercial and pragmatic approach to HR.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to analyse data and use insights to support decision-making.
Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation programmes.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
