Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner at Pell Frischmann will provide temporary cover for the Head of HR for a 12-month fixed-term period, overseeing the delivery of the People Strategy and day-to-day HR operations. This role requires expert HR advice to senior leadership, ensuring compliance and effective implementation of people initiatives while fostering a positive workplace culture. The position involves leading the HR team and managing complex employee relations matters. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning HR practices with business needs and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume overall responsibility for the HR function during the fixed-term period.
- Lead, manage and develop the HR team to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
- Act as a credible HR representative across the organisation, building strong working relationships with senior leaders and managers.
- Oversee implementation of the agreed People Strategy in partnership with the MD and SLT.
- Champion and deliver people initiatives, ensuring they are effectively implemented and fully embedded across the organisation.
- Monitor progress against key objectives, using data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to SLT and senior managers on all people-related matters.
- Lead on complex employee relations matters, liaising with external legal counsel where required.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with employment legislation and statutory obligations.
- Provide advice on redundancy processes and organisational change programmes.
- Apply knowledge of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) regulations where relevant.
- Oversee development and review of employment policies and working practices to align with business needs and best practice.
- Oversee remuneration and reward processes.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
- CIPD qualified with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Significant experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Business Partner role.
- Experience leading and developing an HR team.
- Demonstrable experience advising at senior leadership level.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and organisational change.
- Experience managing compensation and benefits frameworks.
- Experience handling redundancy processes.
- Working knowledge of TUPE regulations.

Main Purpose of the Job This role provides temporary cover for the Head of HR for a 12-month fixed term period. The HR Business Partner will oversee delivery of the agreed People Strategy and day-to-day HR operations to ensure high-quality, compliant and commercially aligned people practices across the organisation.
