Summary: The HR Business Partner role involves supporting the People Director in delivering HR solutions aligned with business priorities, fostering effective relationships with line managers, and guiding them through organizational changes. Key Responsibilities:
- Support People Director in delivering people solutions aligned to business priorities
- Build effective working relationships with line managers, providing day-to-day HR guidance
- Support organisational change activities such as restructures, role changes, and ways-of-working
- Work with internal comms to coordinate and deliver change communications in partnership with leaders and internal communications
- Support managers with practical guidance during periods of change
- Assist with role profiling, working with reward on job benchmarking, and job documentation and approvals
- Support consultation processes by preparing documentation, tracking feedback, and coordinating timelines
- Contribute to workforce planning discussions by working with analytics to provide data, insights, and analysis
- Work with the ER team to provide first-line HR advice on employee relations matters, escalating complex cases as appropriate
- Support change-related ER activity, ensuring processes are fair, consistent, and compliant
Key Skills:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role or HR advisory position
- Basic understanding of change management principles and employee engagement
- Experience supporting managers with HR processes and employee relations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
