Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner role involves collaborating with a small team to provide generalist HR expertise and operational support, focusing on workforce planning and employee relations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of workforce planning and capability plans for the station and support line managers with resourcing activities.
- Partner with leaders to deliver generalist HR expertise and people plan activities.
- Support the performance management process and collaborate with case advisors for effective case management.
- Assist the HR Manager in implementing the Employee Relations framework and managing local Employee Relations.
- Ensure remuneration package details for new appointees align with company policy and pay progression arrangements.
- Support activities promoting diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing within the station culture.
- Coach leaders and provide guidance for effective organisational change.
Key Skills:
- Membership of CIPD with HNC or CIPD equivalent (Level 5).
- Proven HR Generalist experience in a progressive HR, people management, and unionised environment.
- Commercially minded with extensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Relevant knowledge in change and strategic consulting, performance management, and talent management.
- Ability to coach, challenge, and influence line managers for successful outcomes.
- Strong IT skills for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
