Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Havant, England, focusing on providing comprehensive HR support to the RMS business. The position involves engaging with leadership at all levels, managing employee relations, and contributing to special projects while working a four-day week. The HRBP will also play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives. This role requires a credible HR professional with experience in a technical matrix organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of HR for client area, ensuring stakeholders are updated and issues are identified early.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on employee relations matters, including leading the resolution of disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
  • Work in partnership with senior management and their reporting managers, engaging in the business rhythm.
  • Participate in key meetings to understand the business and add value.
  • Lead initiatives to develop company culture and drive diversity and inclusion practices.
  • Support the Head of HR and assist/lead with project work.
  • Provide advice and guidance on compensation and benefits issues, including pay reviews and recruitment support.

Key Skills:

  • Previous HRBP experience, preferably in a technical matrix organization.
  • Understanding of employee relations, talent management, recruitment, reward, and performance management.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
  • Ability to work at all levels and use initiative.
  • Flexibility and capability to work under pressure.
  • Influencing skills for successful delivery of people interventions.
  • Experience in a generalist HR role with knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize issues and manage potential conflicts.
  • Strong computer literacy and HR database knowledge.
