Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Chester, focusing on supporting the HR team and various stakeholders in generalist HR duties, particularly in Employee Relations and Change Management. The position requires an experienced HR professional with a strong background in organizational design and transformation. The role offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements along with exceptional benefits. The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager and Deputy Director of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and implementation of organisational design and change programmes, including restructures involving redundancy, redeployment and TUPE transfers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner in HR and business issues.
  • Manage case work and provide advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Provide proactive HR advice on talent acquisition, performance management, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintain good working relationships with trade union representatives to promote employee engagement.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate and up to date, interpreting management information and identifying trends.

Key Skills:

  • Experienced HR professional with previous HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience in organisational development and transformation.
  • Confidence in handling complex Employee Relations casework.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current Employment Law legislation.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage demanding stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a wider HR team.
