Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a full-time position with a 12-month fixed-term contract at an award-winning housing association in Cheshire. The position requires extensive experience in handling complex employee relations cases and a CIPD qualification. The role involves leading HR operations, advising managers, and enhancing talent development initiatives. The ideal candidate will also support organizational goals through effective HR practices and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and delivering operational & transactional HR to support organisational goals
  • Advising and coaching managers on day-to-day HR issues such as ER Cases, performance, onboarding and training
  • Dealing with the full recruitment process, from offers and contracts to onboarding and delivering inductions
  • Enhancing management capability through one-to-one coaching and conducting training needs analysis, working closely with the L&D team
  • Partnering with teams to drive talent development, succession planning, and inclusive recruitment practices aligned with EDI objectives

Key Skills:

  • Experience dealing with complex ER cases
  • At least CIPD L5 qualified
  • Detailed knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience in implementing Employee Engagement initiatives

Salary (Rate): £43,000.00 yearly

Detailed Description From Employer:

We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning housing association, who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a 12-month FTC . This will be a full-time position based in Cheshire , based remotely with ad-hoc attendance required and a salary of £43,000. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience dealing with complex ER cases and holds a CIPD L5 or L7.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading and delivering operational & transactional HR to support organisational goals
  • Advising and coaching managers on day-to-day HR issues such as ER Cases, performance, onboarding and training
  • Dealing with the full recruitment process, from offers and contracts to onboarding and delivering inductions
  • Enhancing management capability through one-to-one coaching and completely training needs analysis, working closely with the L&D team
  • Partnering with teams to drive talent development, succession planning, and inclusive recruitment practices aligned with EDI objectives

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Experience dealing with complex ER cases
  • At least CIPD L5 qualified
  • Detailed knowledge of employment legislation
