Summary: The role of HR Business Partner at South Wales Police involves providing professional HR advice to Senior Management Teams, addressing complex people challenges, and supporting the organization's people strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance on escalated, varied, and complex HR issues.
- Assess personal requirements of customers and provide adequate support and guidance.
- Develop, propose, and implement approved project/business plans for the HR function.
- Organise and manage the day-to-day delivery of HR projects.
- Research, review, and draft HR policies.
- Monitor and report on policy implementation to ensure compliance.
- Engage effectively with internal and external customers at all levels.
Key Skills:
- MCIPD or level 7 diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Experience advising Senior Managers on HR issues.
- Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Demonstrable HR experience in discipline, conflict resolution, attendance management, recruitment, and policy creation.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation.
