Key Responsibilities:
- Support Heads of HR to deliver Directorate people-related priorities.
- Develop and implement local initiatives at manager level to drive improvements.
- Support regular HR activities including objective setting and performance management.
- Assist with Organisation Design processes.
- Complete monthly reporting activity and analyze HR data.
- Advise line managers on reward processes.
- Provide support to the Employee and Industrial Relations Manager.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of HR best practices and policy application.
- Understanding of customer focus and service delivery approaches.
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law and the Equalities Act 2010.
- Ideally CIPD qualified.
- Experience in managing complex employee relations issues.
- Experience in HR project work and development.
- Ability to maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience using Oracle or similar HR systems.

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Business Partner on an initial 6-month basis. The HR Business Partner will advise and enable colleagues and line managers on the professional aspects of HR including management of employees, HR policy and process, and legal implications or complex cases.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support Heads of HR to deliver Directorate people related priorities, to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Support in developing and implementing local initiatives at manager level to drive people and organisation improvements.
- Support and implement regular HR activities in the directorate including objective setting, performance management, end of year reviews, talent reviews, and support with engagement survey action plans
- Support with Organisation Design processes.
- Complete monthly reporting activity, bringing information together from various sources.
- Analyse HR data, identify trends and share insights with Heads of HR to support people-related decision-making.
- Advise line managers on reward processes.
- Provide support to the Employee and Industrial Relations Manager and Head of EIR to deliver broader ER related priorities.
About you:
- Knowledge of HR best practice and policy application.
- Knowledge of customer focus and service delivery approaches
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law and the Equalities Act 2010.
- Ideally CIPD qualified
- Experience of using and interpreting HR policies and procedures and use of best practice within employment legislation and conditions of service.
- Experience of managing complex employee relations issues
- Experience of HR project work including change projects and HR development
- Experience of developing, maintaining relationships with both internal and external senior stakeholders
- Experience of using Oracle or similar HR systems
