Summary: Elevation HR is looking for an experienced HR Assistant / HR Advisor for a 15-month fixed-term contract in Wakefield, focusing on providing essential support to the HR function in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the site HR function, working closely with managers.
  • Assist with HR Administration and employee matters.
  • Support recruitment by advertising and arranging interviews & assessment centres.
  • Onboard new starters including contracts, reference requests, and ensuring right to work documentation is correct.
  • Update employee attendance records, disciplinary and grievance, and performance matters in line with company procedures.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Time & Attendance system.
  • Monitor sickness and absence and advise on return to work processes.
  • Take notes in meetings related to Employee Relations.
  • Perform payroll administration tasks including inputting data to the payroll system.

Elevation HR are seeking an experienced HR Assistant / HR Advisor for a manufacturing clients based in Wakefield on a 15 month fixed-term contract on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a HR Assistant / Coordinator/ Administrator looking to take that next step into an advisory position. Reporting into the HR Manager, you’ll provide crucial support to the site HR function, working closely with managers to assist with HR Administration, employee matters, support on recruitment as well as helping to manage HR projects:

  • Onboarding new starters including contracts, reference requests and ensuring right to work documentation is correct
  • Supporting with recruitment by advertising and arranging interviews & assessment centres
  • Updating employee attendance records, disciplinary and grievance and performance matters in line with company procedures
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the Time & Attendance system
  • Monitoring Sickness and Absence and advising on return to work processes
  • Note Taking in meetings in relation to Employee Relations
  • Payroll administration tasks including inputting of data to the payroll system
