Summary: The role of HR Advisor involves providing expert HR advice and support within a public sector organization in North Wales. This full-time position includes responsibilities such as coaching managers, developing HR policies, and supporting hiring processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice to managers and employees on HR matters
- Coaching and mentoring managers to strengthen leadership and people management skills
- Building and maintaining strong relationships between employees, managers, and trade unions
- Developing, updating, and reviewing HR policies to reflect current legislation
- Coaching managers to improve their knowledge of handling employee relations issues
- Collaborating with senior teams to introduce effective change management strategies
- Supporting managers in hiring processes, including job advertising, selection methods, and contract options
Key Skills:
- Good multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Experience of leading and advising on complex employee relations matters
- Experience of identifying learning and development needs
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, organise and manage own workload independently
