Summary: The HSE Manager role involves overseeing health and safety for a solar farm project in East Riding, Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage health and safety across the site
- Review, monitor and support with RAMS
- Carry out site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Work closely with subcontractors to maintain safe working practices
- Support the site team with HSE procedures and documentation
- Identify risks and make sure corrective actions are followed through
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project
- Ensure works are carried out in line with CDM regulations and project requirements
- Report HSE updates to the project team where required
Key Skills:
- NEBOSH qualification as a minimum
- Previous HSE experience on solar farm or renewable energy projects
- Strong site based construction safety background
- Good understanding of RAMS, audits, inspections and site documentation
- Comfortable working with subcontractors and site teams
- Able to work independently and take ownership of site HSE
- Strong communication skills and a practical approach to safety
