HSE Manager
Summary: The HSE Manager will oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental activities related to the turbine package on a one-month contract in Scotland. This role involves ensuring compliance with UK legislation and project procedures while promoting a positive safety culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities associated with the turbine island and Air-Cooled Condenser (ACC) installation.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
- Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and monitor Permit-to-Work activities.
- Lead investigations into incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety coaching.
- Liaise with the client, principal contractor and project management team, providing HSE reporting and compliance updates.
