Summary: Venn Group is seeking a HR Systems Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract with a government organization. The role focuses on supporting the iTrent HR and Payroll system through system development, troubleshooting, reporting, and optimization. A Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HR systems, particularly iTrent, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on troubleshooting iTrent system issues and responding to customer enquiries, ensuring all actions and outcomes are documented in line with agreed incident management procedures
- Develop reports using a range of data extraction and report-writing tools to support HR and business operations
- Provide ongoing support for key system interfaces within the iTrent environment, ensuring reliable and effective integration
- Oversee the secure and accurate transfer of data within and between HR systems
- Identify and resolve system-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to service
- Implement new changes or enhancements to the iTrent system in line with evolving business requirements
- Conduct and coordinate testing for new functionality, upgrades, or system configurations
- Support the successful embedding and user adoption of the iTrent system across the organisation through training and documentation
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HR systems (especially iTrent), with the ability to provide strategic and technical guidance on system use and optimisation
- Strong skills in system configuration, advanced Excel, database administration, and data analysis, particularly within Payroll and Core HR modules
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and technical issues, offering clear solutions using structured logic and process
- Experience in balancing competing support and project demands while collaborating across teams to deliver results
- Acts as a positive role model who demonstrates attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
