Summary: The HR Support Officer role in Bristol involves assisting the Director of Workforce and Change and the Head of Human Resources in achieving strategic HR priorities and budget monitoring. The position is contract-based and requires extensive experience in HR, particularly within a local authority context. The successful candidate will provide financial information analysis and support to clients while managing complex escalated issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely provision, preparation, monitoring, and analysis of financial information for HR budgets.
  • Provide competent advice and support to internal and external clients in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Amend, manipulate, and develop spreadsheets, databases, and other applications to update records and retrieve specific information.
  • Respond to complex escalated issues related to contracts and debtors payments from various sources.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a similar HR role.
  • Relevant level 4 qualification (e.g., NVQ level 4, diploma, degree).
  • High standard of communication skills, with experience dealing with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Essential local authority experience.
