Summary: The HR Specialist / HR Business Partner role involves managing day-to-day HR operations and business-as-usual activities at a manufacturing site in Banbury. This position requires a generalist approach to HR, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and talent development. The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong emphasis on onsite presence. The successful candidate will work closely with managers to enhance engagement and compliance with HR policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and business-as-usual activities at the site.
- Provide operational business partnering coaching and guidance to managers and associates.
- Coordinate and implement core HR processes including performance management and talent management.
- Support the Learning & Development team in rolling out learning initiatives.
- Partner with the Talent and Development manager to create and implement upskilling programs for people managers.
- Work with managers to increase team engagement through relevant initiatives and projects.
- Provide knowledge and best practices for managing local labour relations.
- Guide and coach in talent management and succession planning for key roles.
- Participate in pillar activities, such as the Safety Pillar.
- Monitor compliance with local HR policies and regulations, flagging non-compliance issues.
Key Skills:
- Experience in HR operations, particularly in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong coaching and guidance skills for managers and associates.
- Knowledge of performance management and talent management processes.
- Ability to implement learning initiatives and upskilling programs.
- Experience in employee relations and local labour relations management.
