Summary: Our client in the Defence and Security sector is seeking an HR Senior Administrator to support their Digital Solutions (IT) PMO team on a contract basis. This role involves assisting the PMO Lead and Senior PMO Analyst with planning, coordination, and reporting tasks. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented, contributing to the success of the PMO team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing the agenda and assuring project packs for the weekly Stage Gate Review
- Managing the Digital Solutions (IT) PMO Mailbox, ensuring timely responses and resolutions
- Coordinating the induction of new starters into the function
- Supporting the wider function on access requests and issues with key tools such as Jira and SharePoint
- Action and note-taking, along with chasing updates across the function
- Raising and tracking Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and liaising with procurement and finance as needed
- Supporting tracking financial commitments by coordinating with Project Managers
- Assisting the Head of BMT (Transformation and Governance) with preparation for audits and quarterly risk reviews
- Supporting the consistent use of tools, templates, and documentation standards across the function
- Providing general support to the PMO Lead, including presentation preparation
- Acting as a central coordination point between the PMO team and the DSPMO Mailbox
- Building strong working relationships with BMT (Business Management Team), DIO (Delivery Integration Office), and delivery teams
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Administrator supporting a diverse team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MSP)
