Summary: The PMO Professional role focuses on supporting project delivery and change initiatives within the People & HR Service Delivery function. This position is essential for establishing a Programme Management Office that enhances the delivery of the People & Culture strategy. The role involves stakeholder management, continuous improvement, and effective communication to ensure successful project outcomes. The position is based in Bristol, requiring three days on-site and two days of remote work each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Delivery by collaborating with internal teams to ensure adherence to project criteria.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and facilitate effective communication among all parties involved.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage HR process documentation.
  • Assist in change implementation, including training and communication efforts.
  • Create educational materials and visual training aids.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Foster stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Adapt to changing business priorities and communicate effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Proven experience in running a Program Management Office.
  • Ability to develop and manage internal communications for projects.
  • Understanding of HR processes/systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in change management and colleague experience management.

The new People and HR Service Delivery function operationalises and enables HR processes to ensure a consistent and high-quality colleague experience. It serves as the primary gateway for all HR needs for colleagues and people managers, it focuses on efficiency and colleague experience by seamlessly running full employment cycle processes as part of the People and HR Service function, we deliver vital HR services that enable outstanding colleague experiences for all.

The primary goal of this role is to support delivery of projects and change across People & HR Service Delivery.
This role will be critical to creating the Programme Management Office to support the delivery of strategy for People & Culture (P&C). Ensuring standardised and robust approaches are optimised across the teams that ensure progress is known and delivery is managed with minimal risk and minimal shadow resource.

What you'll be doing - your accountabilities The skills you'll need to succeed

* Support Project Delivery:
o Collaborate with internal teams and help support in delivering projects, ensuring adherence to agreed criteria.

* Stakeholder Management:
o Support to engage with key stakeholders and recipients of change, including internal functions, teams, colleagues, and external third parties, to ensure seamless project deliverables into the operational People & HR Service Delivery environment.
o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.

* Continuous Improvement operating system
o Support the preparation, running and close out of events to track event completion, deployment of improvements and measurement of success.
o Lead responsibility for standardisation control and management of HR process documents (including process flows, standard work, maturity matrices)
o Work closely with the Leads to create standard documentation.

* Change Implementation:
o Support in change initiatives such as training, communication, and change enablement to support project success.
o Help to ensure that change initiatives are effectively integrated into the operational environment.

* Training and Education programmes:
o Support the creation of materials to provide education and training.
o Create visual training aids and reminders.
* Project Management:
o Proven ability to help ensure timely delivery of project within agreed business deliverables.
o Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a high-pressured environment.
o Expertise in Project scoping and planning.

* Stakeholder Engagement:
o Experience in engaging effectively with stakeholders to fully understand and meet their needs, fostering collaboration and communication.

* Adaptability and Flexibility:
o Ability to take a flexible approach to meeting business priorities, resilient in working with ambiguity in changing environments.

* Communication skills
o Good written & communication skills, with ability to present and facilitate meetings.

Leadership accountabilities Experience you'd be expected to have

* Change Management

* Proven experience of running a Program Management Office delivering change or continuous improvement projects.

* Experience in developing and managing internal communications and engagement campaigns in projects-ability to communicate complicated, multi-faceted plans to wide range of audiences in a simple and engaging way.

* Preferred:
o Understanding of HR process/systems (especially SAP SuccessFactors) and policies.
o Experience in change management, Colleague experience/experience management, preferably within a P&C function.
