Summary: The HR Project Manager role involves leading strategic HR initiatives within a multi-country organization, focusing on enhancing employee experience and strengthening HR operations. The position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and the delivery of projects aligned with business goals. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications while ensuring compliance with HR strategies. This is a temporary position based near Heathrow, with an ASAP start and a duration of 6-12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of HR projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget
  • Develop structured project plans, milestones, and risk assessments
  • Track progress and provide clear reporting to stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery across HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and local HR teams (UK, Spain, Ireland, Poland)
  • Partner with senior HR and business leaders to define priorities and scope
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  • Present updates to governance forums, ensuring visibility of risks and dependencies
  • Ensure alignment of all projects with organisational HR strategy
  • Maintain compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making
  • Build reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
  • Support embedding of new tools, frameworks, and operating models
  • Support communication and training plans for key initiatives
  • Drive adoption of new systems and processes
  • Capture feedback and implement continuous improvements

Key Skills:

  • Proven HR project management experience in large, complex or matrix organisations
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (e.g. organisational design, performance, talent, change)
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong planning, governance, and organisational capability
  • Proficiency in tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, Workday reporting, and Excel
  • Experience working in international or shared services environments (desirable)
  • Exposure to digital transformation, HR technology, or AI projects (desirable)
  • Project management (Prince2, PMP, Agile) and/or HR (CIPD) qualifications (desirable)
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and frameworks (e.g. OHI, diversity dashboards, workforce KPIs) (desirable)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic HR initiatives across a dynamic, multi-country organisation. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing projects that enhance employee experience, strengthen HR operations, and support business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of HR projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven HR project management experience in large, complex or matrix organisations

  • Strong planning, governance, and organisational capability
