Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver agreed outcomes (cost, quality, efficiency) from key corporate projects.
- Develop, manage and implement projects in accordance with the corporate project management approach.
- Be commercially responsible for managing the delivery of benefits against the business case.
- Lead teams of business specialists and matrix-manage non-dedicated staff to deliver key projects.
- Maintain robust project tools/documentation (i.e. project plans, risk/issue/change logs, dashboards, business cases).
Key Skills:
- Significant experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with Trade Unions, staff, partners, Cabinet Members, and key stakeholders.
- Evidence of leading, developing, and delivering both project and matrix management of projects.
- Proven organisational skills to cope with a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

I am currently representing Thurrock Council , who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3- 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a HR Project Manager this role will RM176SL Hybrid 2 days Office based.
The right candidate will:
- Deliver agreed outcomes (cost, quality, efficiency) from key corporate projects which contribute to the achievement of the Council’s priorities
- Develop, manage and implement projects in accordance with the corporate project management approach
- Project Manager, be commercially responsible for managing the delivery of benefits against the business case
- Lead teams of business specialists where required and Matrix-Manage non-dedicated staff in order to deliver key projects
- Maintain robust project tools/documentation (i.e. project plans, risk/issue/change logs, Dashboards, business cases
We require the following:
