Summary: The HR Project Lead - Change & Transformation role is focused on driving a significant transformation project within a major public sector organization. The position requires a seasoned HR professional to manage HR-related project activities, advise on staff transfer regulations, and liaise with various stakeholders. The role offers flexible working arrangements with one day in the office per week and is open to different contract types. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale change initiatives and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all HR-related project activity.
  • Drive the HR element of a major organisational change programme.
  • Advise on staff transfer regulations and support employees throughout the process.
  • Liaise with internal project teams and multiple external stakeholders.
  • Bring a hands-on, “doer” mindset to ensure the plan becomes reality.

HR Project Lead - Change & Transformation

Location: Glasgow - 1 day per week in the office

Day Rate: £235 - £305

We’re supporting our client, a major public sector organisation, during a significant period of change. They’re looking for an experienced Senior HR professional who can roll up their sleeves and drive a high-profile transformation project from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Embedding yourself as part of the HR team, acting as the main point of contact for all HR-related project activity.
  • Driving the HR element of a major organisational change programme within the public sector
  • Advising on staff transfer regulations and supporting employees throughout the process
  • Liaising with internal project teams and multiple external stakeholders to keep everything on track.
  • Bringing a hands-on, “doer” mindset to ensure the plan becomes reality.

About you:

  • Senior HR experience within large-scale change and transformation projects.
  • Comfortable in a unionised environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident with both strategic thinking and operational delivery.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to work full-time or part-time as needed.

The offer:

  • 3 - 6 month contract with flexible working and one day in the office per week.
  • Open to FTC, payroll, or day rate arrangements (inside IR35).
  • One-stage MS Teams interview with the Head of HR and HR Director.
