Summary: The HR Project Lead will oversee a project aimed at reviewing and potentially revising the Terms and Conditions at the council. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan within two weeks for reviewing and revising Terms and Conditions.
  • Outline and set up pathways/programmes for potential changes, ensuring inclusion of trade unions and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with financial and legal teams to assess challenges and consequences of proposed changes.
  • Review the impact of the upcoming Employment Rights Bill on the casual workforce.
  • Provide regular updates to the Chief Executive, S151 officer, and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Skills:

  • Strong HR background with a deep understanding of employment law.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in a public sector or council environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of terms and conditions, including the Greenbook.
