Summary: The HR Assistant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on providing efficient HR services, particularly in recruitment and administrative duties. The position requires a highly organized individual capable of managing high volumes of recruitment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to the Betteshanger office for meetings and team days. Candidates must reside within one hour of the office location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient HR services covering recruitment and general HR administrative duties.
  • Handle high volumes of recruitment and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Attend meetings at the Betteshanger office as required.
  • Assist with recruitment processes and take minutes at formal meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team and meet multiple deadlines.

Key Skills:

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • Experience in an HR/Recruitment environment.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of confidentiality in HR.
  • Ability to work from home with sufficient broadband speed.
