Summary: The HR Operations Project Support role is an interim position lasting 6-9 months, focused on enhancing HR operations within an international insurance organization. The successful candidate will support the Chief People Officer (CPO) on various HR initiatives, including drafting procedures, analyzing data, and reviewing policies to improve efficiency and compliance. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR operations, particularly within the insurance or financial services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing general support to the CPO, assisting with HR projects and initiatives.
  • Drafting and refining HR procedures to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Analysing data from employee surveys to generate meaningful insights.
  • Conducting handbook and policy reviews, ensuring alignment with regulations and business needs.
  • Creating FAQs and guidance documents for various HR scenarios, such as maternity leave processes.
  • Auditing and improving HCM systems, particularly Workday, to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Assessing HR compliance risks and ensuring policies are fit for purpose.
  • Reviewing and enhancing HR data and analytics reporting, providing leadership with key HCM metrics.
  • Collaborating with HRIS teams to gather requirements for Workday implementation and improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in HR Operations within Insurance or the wider Financial Services.
  • Experience in supporting senior HR leadership, such as a CPO, is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to draft clear policies, procedures, and communication materials.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with HCM systems, particularly Workday, is highly desirable.
  • The ability to review and optimise current data and analytics reporting.

Salary (Rate): £90000
