Summary: The role of Temporary HR and Onboarding Coordinator involves supporting a busy HR team in Worcester by delivering a seamless onboarding experience and coordinating training initiatives for new employees. The position requires collaboration across departments to ensure new hires are welcomed and set up for success. This is a temporary position for an initial duration of three months, focusing on various HR administrative tasks and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and send welcome packs and essential documents to new starters
- Create induction schedules and book mandatory training sessions
- Ensure IT equipment is ready ahead of each start date
- Conduct welcome calls on Day 1 and follow up with check-ins at the end of Week 1 and Month 3
- Support with contracts, leaver documentation, and employment changes
- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy on the HR system (iTrent)
- Coordinate DBS checks and record certification requirements (e.g. PSC/SQE)
- Support early careers recruitment processes, including application sifting and telephone interviews
- Act as a key point of contact between HR, IT, training, and department leads
- Ensure smooth coordination of logistics and resources for new employees
- Monitor and reorder HR and onboarding supplies as needed

We are currently working with a leading professional services organisation who are looking to appoint a Temporary HR and Onboarding Coordinator to support their busy HR team in Worcester , initially on a 3 month basis . This is a key role focused on delivering a seamless onboarding experience and coordinating training initiatives for new starters across the business, from support roles through to senior professionals. You'll work across departments, ensuring every new employee is welcomed, well-informed, and set up for success.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Onboarding & Induction
- Coordinate and send welcome packs and essential documents to new starters

- HR Administration

- Compliance & Recruitment Support

Experience required:
- HR/Admin experience: Experience in HR administration and onboarding is highly desirable

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
