Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues, such as absence management, performance management, and grievances
- Providing advice and support to staff and managers on terms and conditions, employment policies, and procedures
- Developing and facilitating HR workshops and training activities
- Managing HR processes, including fixed-term consultations, promotions, and the reward and recognition process
- Collaborating with HR Managers and the wider HR team to identify and deliver initiatives and projects that continuously improve the service
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in successfully delivering generalist HR casework, including recruitment/selection, absence management, performance, and grievances
- Experience using HR information systems and ability to interpret and analyse statistical HR data
- Problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt your style as the work dictates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with managers and staff
- Commitment to service excellence and continuous service improvement
