Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues, such as absence management, performance management, and grievances
  • Providing advice and support to staff and managers on terms and conditions, employment policies, and procedures
  • Developing and facilitating HR workshops and training activities
  • Managing HR processes, including fixed-term consultations, promotions, and the reward and recognition process
  • Collaborating with HR Managers and the wider HR team to identify and deliver initiatives and projects that continuously improve the service

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in successfully delivering generalist HR casework, including recruitment/selection, absence management, performance, and grievances
  • Experience using HR information systems and ability to interpret and analyse statistical HR data
  • Problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt your style as the work dictates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with managers and staff
  • Commitment to service excellence and continuous service improvement

My client is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their busy, solution-focused HR team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of HR activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, and supporting managers with complex employee relations issues.
