The Role

As HR Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for all things HR, providing a broad generalist service across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the UK, France and Spain.
  • Managing a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, redundancy and retirement.
  • Coaching and advising managers on employment legislation, HR policy and best practice.
  • Supporting the business through a significant global organisational change programme, helping leaders and employees navigate change effectively.
  • Working closely with HR colleagues in France and Spain, alongside local HR teams and external advisers, to ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Managing absence reporting and Occupational Health provision, working with managers and employees around wellbeing, reasonable adjustments and successful returns to work.
  • Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee data, while supporting audits including BSI, HMRC, Home Office and right-to-work compliance.
  • Supporting wider People & Culture initiatives including employee engagement, survey action plans, pay reviews, reward and recognition.
  • Representing the Tewkesbury site at UK HR meetings and working collaboratively across the wider business to ensure consistency in HR policies and practices.

About You

We're looking for a confident HR Generalist / HR Manager who is comfortable operating independently and being the go-to person for all things people.

  • 5+ years' experience working in a broad HR Management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across different countries and cultures.
  • Experience using HR systems and confidence working with data, reporting and HR processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience would be desirable.

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, organised and commercially minded, with the confidence to work autonomously, make sound decisions and provide pragmatic HR advice.
