  • Execute the UK HR compliance plan, ensuring alignment with employment legislation.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership to embed culture and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Lead HR projects assigned by the HR Director.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar HR role.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our Corporate Client on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Based in Derry/L'Derry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage HR operations across multiple locations, NI & GB and remote employees. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering practical HR solutions, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with UK and NI employment legislation.

The Role:

  • HR Service Delivery: Provide responsive and practical HR support to leaders and employees, acting as a trusted partner to leadership teams.
  • Employee Relations & Absence Management: Lead and manage employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Recruitment & Talent Management: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring Fair Employment compliance, and support talent management, succession planning, and training initiatives.
  • Compliance, Governance & Risk: Own and execute the UK HR compliance plan, ensuring policies and procedures align with UK and NI employment legislation.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and support wage bargaining processes.
  • Culture & Wellbeing: Partner with leadership to embed culture and wellbeing initiatives that foster a positive and sustainable workplace environment.
  • Projects: Lead HR projects assigned by the HR Director, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

The Person:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar HR role within a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
