Summary: The HR Manager role involves managing HR processes, employee relations, and recruitment within an established industrial/manufacturing company. The position requires overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and laws, and providing guidance to management. The ideal candidate should have proven HR experience, particularly in the industrial sector, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This is a temporary, full-time position based in Huddersfield with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the HR department's daily operations as a stand-alone HR Manager.
- Implementing and reviewing HR policies and procedures.
- Overseeing recruitment and selection processes.
- Handling employee relations and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Providing guidance and advice to management on HR matters.
- Coordinating employee training and development initiatives.
- Monitoring and managing performance appraisal systems.
Key Skills:
- Proven HR experience in a similar role, preferably within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
