Detailed Description From Employer:

An international publishing business is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join them from May on a 13-month maternity cover. This is a hands-on, operational role where you're very much part of the day-to-day running of the business.

Reporting into the HR Director, you'll be the main HR presence on site for the 150 people in their London office, line managing a part-time HR Assistant and supporting managers and employees with all the usual BAU HR matters. From being the first point of contact for HR questions, to handling ER issues and keeping processes ticking along, this is a proper roll-your-sleeves-up role.

Payroll exposure is important. You don't need to be processing from start to finish, but you do need to be confident overseeing payroll, working with external providers and making sure everything is accurate and on time. Attention to detail really matters here.

They're looking for someone personable and approachable who enjoys building strong relationships and being involved in the business.

It's a warm, collaborative company with a sensible, down-to-earth approach to HR.

They offer hybrid working in their London based office.

If you are available to start in May, then please apply now to find out more.
