Summary: Our client, a leading company in the HR sector, is seeking an HR Generalist for a fixed-term role in Havant, Hampshire. This position involves processing payroll and managing HR administrative tasks as part of a new HR delivery model. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of a newly formed team within a global organization. Candidates should have a background in HR or payroll functions and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing payroll for UK sites ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Managing HR admin tasks including new starters, leavers, absence management, and pension administration
- Collaborating with HR, Finance, and external payroll partners for seamless service delivery
- Acting as a point of contact for payroll and HR admin queries, utilising the ServiceNow ticket system
- Documenting tasks and processes in work instructions
- Creating and maintaining knowledge articles to support self-service within the business
Key Skills:
- Degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrable experience in HR or payroll functions, preferably in an international company
- Detailed knowledge of compliance, relevant laws, and regulations
- Experience working with various HR systems
- Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- Customer service mindset with an open and curious attitude
