Exciting Opportunity for an HR Category Manager!

Location - Warwick 3 days a week on site

As an HR Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in setting category strategy and supporting strategic sourcing and supplier performance management activities. If you are motivated, analytical, and have a passion for driving value and efficiency, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop category and sourcing strategies for higher value and higher complexity categories, leveraging data analysis and external insights.

Manage assigned categories, ensuring successful delivery of sourcing projects and achieving associated cost savings and benefits.

Lead sourcing projects for higher value and complexity categories, from supplier identification and market research to tender documentation and negotiation.

Continuously stay updated on supply market developments, trends, risks, and opportunities to proactively engage with suppliers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and support ongoing commercial activities, including value planning and supplier relationship management.

Adhere to organisational procedures for governance, risk, and compliance management to mitigate risks effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in category management or strategic sourcing within the HR industry is highly desirable.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive effective decision-making.

Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering sourcing projects.

Proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for improvement.

Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
