Summary: The HR Business Support Officer role involves providing essential support to the Director of Workforce & Change and the Head of HR within a local authority. The position is part-time, temporary, and focuses on financial management and operational procedures to meet HR strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports and resolving logistical challenges while serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, monitoring and analysing a range of financial information for HR budgets before the required financial deadlines.
  • Prepare and present financial management reports to stakeholders.
  • Assess and resolve operational procedures both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Resolve complex logistical problems and deliver a range of outcomes.
  • Being the first point of contact for a range of stakeholders across the business.
