Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 9-month contract position based in London, focusing on providing comprehensive HR support within the Technology function of a FTSE 100 company. The successful candidate will act as a key HR contact for line managers, guiding them through HR policies and processes while managing employee relations and performance management. This position requires a strong background in HR, with a focus on delivering a positive colleague experience. The role is classified as inside IR35, indicating the need for compliance with tax regulations for contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key HR point of contact for line managers and colleagues, on a variety of people related topics and day-to- day HR support and advice.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coach and guide managers through key people processes including informal and formal employee relations issues (eg absence management, performance concerns, conduct)
- Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and recommend solutions
- Manage employee relations issues and provide conflict resolution support
- Provide proactive HR support and services, ensuring a strong colleague experience
- Facilitate performance management processes and talent development
- Collaborate with the HR COE's on a varied of people related items, such as: salary review & talent acquisition initiatives
- Oversee the effective delivery of cyclical HR activities, such as objective setting, employee engagement surveys, and our annual salary and bonus review
- Partner with HR Operations to resolve employee queries and oversee changes
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of HR experience with at least 3 years in an HRBP or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Experience working in a global role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of talent management and succession planning (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar, fast paced industry (preferred)
